Marketing cotton? Now you’ve got people for that.

Being able to focus on growing cotton — without worrying about the market — is the most obvious benefit to working with us. But that’s only the beginning. With Cotton Solutions Cooperative, you also get price risk management and marketing strategies intended to deliver the best possible price for what you grow.

Cotton Solutions Cooperative has already shown strong performance. Our 2019 crop seasonal pool closed at 18 cents over loan.

Membership Pricing

Your commitment is simple. The contract is an acres commitment (100% APH) with a year-to-year signup, so you’ll never be automatically enrolled in a pricing plan if you’re not comfortable with it. You can expect to receive payments at the following times:

  • Harvest
  • February
  • May
  • September

Membership Contract Pools

We want every cotton grower to make an informed decision about how they market their crop. Below you can find all the details, documents and fine print — including our membership and marketing contracts — you’ll need to get started.

Seasonal Pool

The Seasonal Pool can be joined via an acre contract. Through partnership with Cargill, members are provided price risk management alternatives and pricing strategies to enhance pricing potential. First payment will be at least equal to government loan minus Cotton Board and minus warehouse charges. Cotton Solutions intends to make an initial payment that is greater than the government loan, but this is not guaranteed.

Call Pool

The Call Pool may also be an acre contract. Producers have the ability to establish a price against underlying ICE futures. Basis adjustment is made to the producer’s price based on basis achieved of all bales at destination. Through partnership with Cargill, members are provided price risk management alternatives and strategies to enhance pricing potential. First payment will be at least equal to government loan minus Cotton Board and minus warehouse charges. Cotton Solutions intends to make an initial payment that is greater than the government loan, but this is not guaranteed.
